The Institute for Recovery and Community Integration works to introduce and advance communities’ understanding of mental health recovery and community integration as the catalyst for transforming individual lives, communities, and all levels of behavioral health systems. This is the recovery website of the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board which is in Ohio. Though some of the pages are about resources for the Hamilton County which are not applicable for us in Bucks County PA, this site has a great explanation of recovery and recovery components, online articles, resources and links to other websites about recovery and advocacy. It also has an interesting page on “Consumer Outcomes” which provides information about how programs and systems can try to measure recovery, thus identifying how well they are doing with supporting consumer’s desired outcomes.

This a companion website to the Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery. The Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery was founded in 2003 By Mary Ellen Copeland, along with other people in recovery and supportive allies, founded the Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery to promote mental health recovery through education, training, and research.   This companion website is geared toward persons in recovery learning about Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and using it effectively in their recovery journey. There are recovery stories, articles on various aspects of recovery including wellness tools, motivation, hope, alternative therapies. There are also e-learning modules, webinars and downloadable forms for creating a crisis & post crisis plan and a form to help with doctor visits to ensure you are fully knowledgeable about your medications.
